Job Summary
Board-certified/eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology clinician-educator sought at MUSC in Charleston, SC to educate medical students, residents, and fellows, shape the next generation of OB/GYN specialists, and provide clinical coverage including L&D, GYN surgery with robotics, and a flexible call system. The role supports a customizable clinic schedule, collaboration with subspecialists, and a strong emphasis on academics within a large department and affiliated institutes; EPIC is used for records, and relocation assistance is provided. No research requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency/Fellowship
- Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, excellent communication skills, and a strong interest in academics.
- Engage in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Join a department with 50+ physicians and APPs
- Customize clinic schedule
- Provide dedicated one-day/month coverage at Labor & Delivery
- Approximately four weeks inpatient coverage annually
- Provide OR two times/month for GYN surgery including robotics for credentialed in robotics
- Participate in a flexible call system
- No research requirement
