Job Summary
Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join MUSC as a clinician-educator in Charleston. Responsibilities include educating medical students, residents, and fellows; flexible clinic schedule; one-day per month Labor & Delivery coverage; approximately four weeks inpatient coverage annually; GYN surgery coverage twice monthly including robotic cases; collaboration with subspecialists in GYN Oncology, Urogynecology, and REI; participation in a flexible call system; Epic EMR; no research requirement. Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN with completed accredited residency/fellowship; strong teaching, communication, and academic interests required. Relocation assistance offered. Clinical-track faculty position with rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Completed an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency/Fellowship
- Demonstrate a commitment to teaching and education of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Ability to provide clinical care in Labor & Delivery with dedicated one-day/month coverage
- Involvement in GYN surgery including robotic time for credentialed providers
- Flexible call system within department
- No research requirement
