Job Summary
Engage in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows while providing dedicated one-day monthly coverage at the Labor & Delivery unit. Deliver approximately four weeks of inpatient coverage annually and perform two GYN surgeries per month, including robotic procedures for credentialed providers. Participate in a flexible call system shared within the department to promote work-life balance. This clinical-track faculty position supports the Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital and Pearl Tourville Women's Pavilion, offering a customizable clinic schedule tailored to professional needs.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency/Fellowship
- Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Demonstrate a commitment to teaching
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interest in academics
- Provide a dedicated one-day/month coverage at our Labor & Delivery unit
- Approximately four weeks of inpatient coverage annually
- Provide OR two times/month for GYN surgery cases including robotic time for those credentialed in robotics
- Participate in a flexible call system shared within the department
- EPIC medical record platform
