Job Summary
Laborist OB/GYN physician needed at St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY, to join an inpatient team with a shift-based schedule focused on managing labor and routine and complex deliveries, including cesarean sections. The role requires board certification or eligibility in obstetrics/gynecology, excellent clinical and communication skills, and the ability to triage and provide care for both routine and high-risk deliveries with support from Maternal Fetal Medicine and NICU services. The program includes a large obstetrics volume, level 3 NICU, MFM support, and a multidisciplinary team. The position offers relocation assistance, a comprehensive compensation package with an annual salary of $325,000, CME allowance, malpractice tail coverage, and loan repayment options under PSLF where applicable. This is a full-time, inpatient laborist role with a three-15-hour-shift week schedule; visa sponsorship is not offered.
