Job Summary
Physician for Women's Health (PWH), a Sharon, CT-based OB/GYN practice, seeks a full-time Obstetrics & Gynecology physician to provide obstetrical and gynecological care. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, ordering or performing procedures (injections, immunizations, basic wound care), counseling patients on treatment plans and health maintenance, developing and implementing patient management plans, following hospitalized patients as appropriate, maintaining EMR/billing at office visits, and contributing to a collaborative, patient-centered care environment. Candidates must diagnose conditions with knowledge of fetal growth and development, demonstrate communication skills, and hold MD or DO from an accredited medical school with board certification/eligibility, CT license, and related credentials. The role is based in Sharon, CT, affiliated with Sharon Hospital, and involves equal call with other OB providers in a single office location.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible
- Connecticut License
- Federal and State controlled substance licenses
- BLS certification
- Eligible for hospital privileges
- Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health
