Job Summary
Conduct daily obstetrics and gynecology care for approximately 25 patients, including colposcopy, IUD procedures, biopsies, and hospital surgeries such as laparoscopy, hysterectomy, and Cesareans. Manage your own patient call throughout the week until 5:00 p.m., with 1.5 weekend and holiday call rotations. Perform up to six hospital procedures daily using Intuitive DaVinci Robot 5 technology. Join a high-volume clinic team supported by nurse chaperones and advanced practitioners at multiple locations. Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday until noon.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN
- Hospital employed
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holiday shifts
- Must be able to work in a high volume clinic
- Must be able to work at SOMC OB/GYN Associates - 1735 27th Street, Waller Bldg, Suite 202, Portsmouth, OH 45662
- Must be able to work at Waverly, West Union, Ironton, and Vanceburg locations
- Must be able to work Monday - Thursday 8:00a - 5:00p
- Must be able to work Friday 8:00a - 12:00p
- Must be able to call for your own patients throughout the week until 5:00p
- Must be able to handle 1:5 Weekend and holiday call
- Must be able to perform circumcisions in the nursery
- Must be able to perform 25 patients/day
- Must be able to perform 4-6 hospital procedures/day
- Must be able to perform Colposcopy
- Must be able to perform IUD insertion and removals
- Must be able to perform Biopsies
- Must be able to perform DX Laparoscopy
- Must be able to perform Hysterectomy
- Must be able to perform D&C
- Must be able to perform Ablations
- Must be able to perform Tubal Ligations
- Must be able to perform Cesareans
- Must be able to work with Intuitive DaVinci Robot 5
- Must agree to 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salary
- Must agree to 2-year service commitment
- Must agree to up to 2 year service commitment
- Must pass the post-offer physical examination
- Must pass drug screen
- Must pass criminal background investigation
