Independent performance of Obs, Gynae and General ultrasound examinations to a high standard, collaborating with radiologists and other professionals, contributing to multidisciplinary discussions, ensuring accurate documentation, and adhering to departmental protocols and national guidelines while working in a busy imaging department with weekend/evening shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Society of Radiographers (SoR)
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent
- Extensive experience in Obs sonography (ideally General & Gynae scans)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and patient-centred care
