Job Summary
Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician (locum tenens) needed for 24-hour pager-call schedule (7a-7a) in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include obstetric care for a range of cases (suction dilation and curettage, laparoscopy, non-stress tests, cesarean sections, tubal ligations) with support from 3 PAs and nighttime midwives (7p-7a). EMR: Epic. Credentialing within ~30 days. Requires BLS, PALS, ACLS; Michigan license preferred; IMLC consideration available. AMN Healthcare assists with malpractice coverage and travel/lodging arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Michigan medical license preferred
- Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) considered
