Job Summary
Dynamic OB hospitalist opportunity in a high-volume, teaching environment offering 24-hour in-house OB call, significant procedural exposure, and meaningful patient impact within a Trauma Level II facility. Responsibilities include teaching FM residents and medical students, rapid-response coverage for high-acuity OB cases, and ongoing assignment potential in a busy labor and delivery service; requires MI license and Board Certification or Eligibility with experience in OB/GYN and familiarity with Athena and Cerner EMR.
Required Qualifications
- MI license required (no IMLC)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (eligible status considered)
- Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred for hospitalist role
- Athena EMR experience
- Cerner EMR experience
- Trauma Level II facility experience
- Teaching environment with FM residents and medical students
- Rapid response expectations for ED/L&D
- Approximately 370–380 annual deliveries with active L&D service
- Strong collaborative support from nursing and FM teams
