Job Summary
Conduct well-woman exams, prenatal/postpartum visits, and gynecologic evaluations while diagnosing and managing obstetric and gynecologic conditions, including high-risk complex patients. Perform in-office and surgical procedures such as biopsies, hysterectomies, and cesarean sections. Participate in a 24-hour call rotation and supervise Certified Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners through chart reviews and consultations. Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EHR and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care in outpatient and inpatient settings. Board certified or eligible with an active medical license and DEA registration required.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Ability to obtain and maintain Medicare, Medicaid, and payer credentialing with the practice's participating insurance and managed care plans
- Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility)
- DEA registration and prescribing authority
- Eligibility for hospital privileges
- Proficiency with Epic EHR system
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to adapt to evolving clinical technologies and practices
