Job Summary
Provide in-house obstetrical physician coverage and clinical oversight for labor floor patients. Cover and supervise care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients, including gynecologic consults requiring surgical management. Serve as the Attending for Physician Assistants while participating in continuing medical education and department quality initiatives. This full-time Assistant Professor role supports the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at New York-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and newborns, which delivers approximately 8,000 newborns annually.
Required Qualifications
- medical degree
- successfully completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program
- board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology
- valid New York State Medical License
- commitment to excellence and teaching
