Job Summary
Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a Federally Qualified Health Center in Riverhead, NY. Provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care; perform outpatient sessions and surgical procedures; participate in on-call coverage and hospital rounds; supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers; coordinate referrals and follow-up care; contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Schedule includes 3 office days per week, 1 call per week, 1 weekend call every 4 weeks, and 1 surgical day per month. Requires MD or DO, active NY license, DEA, and Board Certification; experience with diverse patient populations; proficient in obstetric and gynecologic procedures and EHRs; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active NY State license, DEA registration, and Board Certification
- Experience with diverse patient populations in community health settings
- Proficient in prenatal care, intrapartum management, postpartum care, gynecologic surgery, family planning, and electronic health records
- Strong clinical judgment, communication and interpersonal skills, cultural competence, empathy, and ability to collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary teams
- Language: English; Spanish preferred
