Job Summary
Conduct outpatient GYN and OB visits, including well-woman exams, preventive care, and management of abnormal bleeding and HRT cases. Perform independent ultrasounds and dating down to 8 weeks, and treat conditions such as Bartholin abscess and PAPS. Provide video appointments and clinic coverage using Health Connect EMR. Maintain active California licensure, AHA BLS certification, and board certification. Credentialing occurs within 90 days. This role supports AMN Healthcare's locum tenens placement for a San Bernardino Mountains area facility.
Required Qualifications
- Obstetric and Gynecology (OBGYN) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP)
- Strong GYN experience
- Must be comfortable doing own ultrasounds and dating down to 8 weeks
- Must be comfortable with preventive GYN cases
- EMB & comfortable with abnormal bleeding & HRT
- Bartholin Abscess, PAPS
- Active Board Certification
- Basic Life Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Active California state License
- Health Connect – Kaiser Permanente's version of EPIC
