Job Summary
Software Engineer – Observability Platform to design, develop, and enhance scalable observability components for industrial edge-to-cloud systems. Responsibilities include building telemetry ingestion and processing pipelines, backend services, and user-facing observability features; developing reusable Grafana dashboards, templates, and plugins; implementing full-stack capabilities (APIs, microservices, UI workflows) to support telemetry correlation, incident management views, health insights, and operational analytics; collaborating with Platform Engineering, SRE/DevOps, and Application teams to onboard services and improve platform reliability; contributing across the software development lifecycle with a focus on cloud-native, scalable solutions in a hybrid (on-site/in Bengaluru) environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in building observability solutions with Grafana (dashboard development, templating, plugin customization)
- Experience with Prometheus, Loki, Tempo and/or Jaeger and OpenTelemetry SDKs/Collectors
- Proficiency in full-stack development with React and TypeScript
- Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, and/or Go
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes environments (AKS) and observability integration
- Experience integrating APIs and microservices in cloud-native environments
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills (SRE/DevOps, Platform Engineering)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field
- Willingness to work in a Hybrid model in Bengaluru, India
