Job Summary
Observability Developer responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing an enterprise-grade observability platform (Genix Health Hub) to provide end-to-end operational visibility across industrial edge-to-cloud environments. Responsibilities include building telemetry ingestion/processing pipelines, backend services, and user-facing observability features; developing reusable Grafana dashboards, templates, and plugins; implementing full-stack capabilities (APIs, microservices, UI workflows) for telemetry correlation, incident management views, and operational analytics; ensuring scalable, cost-effective solutions aligned with engineering standards; collaborating with SRE/DevOps and Platform Engineering teams to onboard services and improve platform reliability and usability; contributing to requirements analysis, prototyping, design, coding, testing, releases, and ongoing maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of software development experience, preferably in platform engineering, observability platforms, or product engineering environments supporting cloud-native systems
- Strong expertise in building observability solutions with Grafana dashboards, templating, plugin customization, and operational visualization capabilities
- Proficiency with Prometheus, Loki, Tempo and/or Jaeger, and OpenTelemetry SDKs/Collectors for telemetry collection, processing, and correlation
- Frontend development with React and TypeScript; backend development with Node.js, Python, and/or Go
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes environments (AKS preferred) including deployment patterns and observability integration
- Experience developing APIs, microservices architectures, and cloud-native applications for enterprise-scale platforms
- Strong understanding of metrics, logs, traces, events, and telemetry correlation patterns in modern observability platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with SRE/DevOps and Platform Engineering stakeholders
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining scalable observability solutions for edge-to-cloud or similar ecosystems
