Job Summary
Experienced Advanced Practice Professional in OB/GYN to support outpatient obstetrical care with potential for gynecologic care, deliveries, or surgical support. Role requires completing a CNM/NP/PA program, current Maine licensure, and BLS; minimum 2 years of labor & delivery and office experience; skills in IUD insertion, office ultrasound, and Nexplanon desired. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary OB/GYN team and provision of prenatal/postnatal care in an outpatient setting are central; opportunities exist to tailor the scope based on interest and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nurse midwifery, nurse practitioner, or physician associate program
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife as required in the State of Maine
- Current BLS certification
- NRP and surgical first assistant certifications
- Minimum 2 years of labor & delivery and office experience; CNM experience preferred
- Competency with IUD insertion and office ultrasound; Nexplanon insertion desired
- Comfort with moderate-to-high risk pregnancies
- Collaborative approach to patient care with OB/GYNs and multidisciplinary team
