Job Summary
Manage a balanced 60% obstetrics and 40% gynecology practice with robotics access at a 402-bed regional referral center. Conduct approximately 20–25 clinic visits daily in an on-campus setting featuring three exam rooms, two procedure rooms, and onsite ultrasound. Perform roughly three minimally invasive or robotic surgical cases per half-day across ten operating rooms with MD/CRNA anesthesia. Handle practice call only with a 1:3 rotation, while Texas Tech residents cover unassigned ED calls. Collaborate closely with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and university residents to support approximately 2,200 annual deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Obstetrics and Gynecology training
- Hospital-employed role availability
- Balanced practice split (60% Obstetrics / 40% Gynecology)
- 4.5 days clinic + 0.5 day dedicated to gynecologic surgery each week
- Clinic volume capacity (~20–25 patients/day)
- 30 minutes for new visits and 15 minutes for follow-ups
- On-campus clinic access (3 exam rooms per provider, 2 procedure rooms, onsite ultrasound, regional lab)
- OR access for minimally invasive and robotic surgery (Da Vinci)
- ~3 cases per half-day
- Access to 10 ORs with MD/CRNA anesthesia
- Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (30 rooms)
- Collaborative environment with Texas Tech neonatologists
- 30-room Labor & Delivery unit
- Practice call only (largely obstetrics), 1:3 rotation
- Resident call coverage (residents take unassigned ED calls)
