Job Summary
OBGYN Manager Physician Practice Operations oversees on-site management of Ambulatory/OBGYN practice locations, supervising office staff, coordinating credentialing contracts with third party payers, ensuring HIPAA/compliance, managing budgets and billing records, and fostering physician relations while promoting quality patient care and performance improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, training and orientation, coordinating office facilities, maintaining medical/clerical supplies, managing patient billing records, supporting financial budgeting, credentialing, regulatory compliance, and contributing to multidisciplinary team efforts. Education: minimum high school; nursing-focused degree preferred. Experience: five years in physician office management or supervisory roles. License: RN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: High School Graduate
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Five (5) years previous physician office management or supervisory experience in a medical office setting, or previous physician accounts receivable management
- Preferred: Registered Nurse license
