Job Summary
Provide comprehensive inpatient coverage for faculty group practice patients and unassigned admissions, admitting and managing laboring patients including routine and complex operative vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Evaluate triage presentations for admission or discharge, manage postpartum care and complications, and perform neonatal circumcisions. Supervise high-risk patients with 24-hour Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation support while collaborating with general OB/GYN physicians for primary labor management. Maintain evidence-based care standards, attend departmental quality and safety committees, and contribute to educational and research goals.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Successfully completed a U.S. Accredited OB/GYN Residency training program
- New York State Medical license
- Five years work experience
- Strong communication skills
