Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive obstetric care for patients of all ages at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center and Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican Hospital, collaborating closely with the local MFM practice for 24/7 support. Perform daily duties including fetal monitoring, transvaginal cervical length assessments, and basic OB ultrasound skills, while integrating with genetic counselors and advanced practitioners. Deliver compassionate patient care and participate in teaching residents and hospital staff, supported by continuous learning initiatives such as critical care obstetrics courses and implicit bias training.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum 3 years' experience OB/GYN
- Valid medical license/ability to get medical license to practice in the state of Nevada
- Proven experience as an OB/GYN Physician
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working on a team
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Desired Qualifications
- Fetal monitoring certification
- Transvaginal cervical length (TVCL) assessment training with our MFMs
- BLS certification
- Opportunity to attend the critical care obstetrics course by the SMFM
- Basic OB ultrasound skills training with our MFMs
- Implicit bias training to reduce provider-related healthcare inequity
