Job Summary
Provide overall leadership and oversight for all activities on the unit, collaborating with nurses and staff to deploy resources and manage patients. Supervise clinical care for unassigned patients in labor & delivery, including cesarean sections, spontaneous and operative vaginal deliveries, antenatal, and postpartum care. Deliver high quality evidence based obstetric care while working collaboratively with OB/GYN colleagues, MFMs, CNMs, and staff. Participate in and lead quality improvement initiatives to guide patient safety and satisfaction, upholding values of kindness, excellence, ownership, and teamwork. Work a combination of 13, 12-hour day and night shifts with flexible FTE opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school
- Successful completion of OBGYN Residency
- Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois
- Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or Fellowship trained
- Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois
- Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or Fellowship trained
