Job Summary
Provide direct clinical care and research while teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at UF Health Shands Hospital. Perform major and minor gynecologic surgeries for medically complex patients across various clinics. Share responsibility for rotating night and weekend call. Advance the educational mission through committee service, rounds, lectures, and postgraduate courses. Engage in scholarly activities including NIH and foundation-supported research and quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Board eligible/certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible for a Florida Medical License
- Terminal doctoral degree in a clinical science such as MD or DO degree
Desired Qualifications
- Applicants with additional educational degrees such as an MBA, MPH
- Ability to apply creativity to program growth and development
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Comfortable in providing a broad spectrum of obstetrical and gynecologic care, including gynecologic surgery, to medically complex patients
- Focus areas of special interest in women's health care
