Job Summary
Provide highest quality healthcare to female patients, monitoring their reproductive health, delivering babies, and managing chronic conditions. Monitor patients during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods while performing tests, prescribing medications, and treatments as necessary. Deliver babies ensuring health and safety of both infant and mother. Participate in developing clinic policies, facilitate audits for State and Federal regulations, and serve as preceptor for medical students and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant programs. Rotate between Health Clinics as needed and consult Medical Director on patient management. Work M-F, 8a-5p or 9a-6p with possible weekends and on-call 5-6 days/mo.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree
- 3+ years of experience in Gynecology
- 3+ years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in California (CA)
- Medical Doctor (MD) in California (CA)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
- Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS)
- OBGYN Board certification or Board-eligible
- Past supervisory skills or open to it in this role
- Acceptance of M-F, 8a-5p position with occasional weekends
