OB Technician

Assist with surgical procedures by setting up tables, instruments, and supplies for cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and circumcisions while maintaining sterile technique and performing instrument counts. Maintain stock and equipment inventories in the department and patient rooms, respond to patient calls, and record vital signs and intake/output into the patient record. Perform delegated nursing procedures such as patient baths, bed making, and ambulating patients, and report observed changes in patient condition to the RN. Complete required on-the-job training and fulfill yearly professional growth requirements through unit meetings and continuing education.
