OB Technician (Surgery Services) Full Time, Nights

OB Technician (Surgery Services) supports the operating room by preparing the surgical suite, handling instruments intraoperatively, maintaining the sterile field, and adapting to changing conditions during cesarean procedures. Works under the supervision of a surgeon alongside the Registered Nurse to facilitate safe, effective care and maximize patient safety. Responsibilities include aseptic technique, preparation and handling of equipment and supplies, sterile instrument handoffs, instrument processing, set-up of case carts, unit maintenance, and supporting regulatory checks. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification within 60 days of hire; emphasizes collaboration with OR staff and knowledge of sterile technique and emergency equipment.
