Job Summary
OB Tech in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit at Waukesha Memorial Hospital—0.6 FTE (.6) on the Nights schedule, performing scrubbing functions for cesarean sections, emergent hysterectomies, post partum tubal ligation, and other procedures; prepares OR/LDR suites with required equipment and supports the RN in obstetrical patient care. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, prior OR experience or Surgical Scrub Tech certification, and BLS. Night shift, two 12-hour shifts per week; not seasonal or temporary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma – or equivalent
- Must have prior OR experience or a certification from a Surgical Scrub Tech program
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, or ability to obtain upon hire
