Job Summary
The OB Tech at ProHealth Care Birthing Center is responsible for scrubbing functions during surgical procedures such as cesarean sections and hysterectomies under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role involves preparing operating rooms with necessary equipment in adherence to established policies and supporting the RN in delivering patient care in obstetrical settings. Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, possess prior OR experience or a certification from a Surgical Scrub Tech program, and have Basic Life Support certification or the ability to obtain it upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, or ability to obtain upon hire
