Job Summary
OB Surgical Tech within Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Mount Auburn Hospital team: prepares for mixed surgical procedures, scrubs, gowns, and gloves, maintains aseptic technique, utilizes case carts and preference cards to obtain instruments and supplies, collaborates with the surgical team to anticipate needs, and supports intraoperative and postoperative tasks across multiple service lines (e.g., vascular, neuro, ortho, Gyn, ENT, general, cardiothoracic). Demonstrates efficient setup, conserves supplies, performs counts, and promotes safety through proper instrument handling and electro-surgical precautions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Operating room Technician Program, or equivalent preparation.
- One year of Operating Room experience preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Must be C.O.R.T. certified or eligible.
