Job Summary
Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during obstetrical operations in the Labor and Delivery unit. Anticipate surgeon needs, ensure quality patient care, and maintain the sterile field vigilance. Perform patient care duties under the direction of a registered nurse. Requires BCLS upon hire and NRP preferred; candidates need surgical technologist training, one year OR experience, or three years direct patient care. Night shifts in the Operating Room.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program
- 1 year previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist
- 3 years of experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting
- BCLS - Basic Life Support

- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
