Job Summary
Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during obstetrical operations in the Labor and Delivery unit. Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure quality patient care while maintaining the sterile field. Perform patient care duties under the direction of a registered nurse. Maintain vigil for equipment maintenance throughout the procedure. Requires BCLS upon hire; NRP preferred. H.S. Diploma or GED required.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program
- 1 year previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist
- 3 years of experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting
- BCLS - Basic Life Support

- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
