Job Summary
OB Scrub Technician assists the RN in patient care, performs surgical scrub for obstetrical deliveries and obstetrical emergencies, maintains supplies in LDRs and surgical suites, and handles related patient-care duties; also performs clerical duties. The role may include additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- BLS required
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technician preferred
- Experience in obstetrics or surgical scrub
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding principles
- BLS certification preferred
- Phlebotomy or basic patient care experience valid within a healthcare setting
