Job Summary
Contingent OB Scrub Tech supports surgical procedures in the Birthing Center under the RN circulator. Responsibilities include preparing operating room and instruments per case requirements, maintaining a sterile field, providing instruments, sponges, sutures, and medications during procedures, performing counts of sponges/needles/instruments, assisting with room turnover and transporting instruments, and communicating patient care information to the surgical team.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Surgical Technology OR specialized Armed Forces training OR 2+ years experience as a Surgical Technician
- Surgical Technician Certification preferred
- Current BLS Certification
