Apply aseptic principles to maintain sterile environments during operative procedures. Prepare patients by draping sterile fields, passing instrumentation, and operating stapling devices under provider direction. Perform instrument counts with the RN circulator and manage room turnover and set-up. Provide age-specific care to obstetrical patients, including venipuncture, vital signs collection, specimen transport, and personal hygiene support. Organize supplies and equipment to ensure department efficiency. Maintain and clean instruments, identifying items needing repair per policy.
