Job Summary
Conduct triage and provide inpatient obstetrical and gynecologic care at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA, with expansion to Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. Manage a predetermined minimum of 12-to-24-hour call shifts per month, with part-time coverage of 24 hours weekly or full-time coverage of 48 hours weekly. Deliver patient care within a high-volume, quality-focused team approach supported by Certified Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified / board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Contracted Ob Laborist will be responsible for a predetermined minimum number of 12-to-24-hour call shifts per month
- A part time Ob Laborist typically provides 24 hours of coverage weekly
- A full time Ob Laborist provides 48 hours of call coverage weekly
