Job Summary
OB Hospitalist needed to join Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in Spartanburg, SC. Responsibilities include providing emergency/unassigned/OBED coverage, attending all deliveries, emergency OB consults, and managing GYN emergencies. The role supports a new OB GYN residency program with teaching opportunities, operates within a double-coverage physician model with CNM support, and involves 24-hour in-house OB anesthesia, Level III NICU coverage, and available MFM. Compensation features include a $50,000 sign-on bonus, CME allowance, multiple retirement options, paid malpractice with tail coverage, relocation assistance, and potential earnings exceeding $400,000 annually. Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Ability to provide emergency OB care and call coverage
- Experience with OBED and deliveries
- Participation in residency or teaching opportunities
- Licensure in South Carolina or eligibility to obtain license
- Strong commitment to work-life balance
- Participation in hospitalist model with CNM support
