Job Summary
OB Hospitalist role providing labor management up to delivery, postpartum care, and back-up for midwifery in a Level III maternity center with a 24-hour OB anesthesia team. Responsibilities include triage of OB patients, cesarean delivery support, coordination with Maternal Fetal Medicine, and on-site call coverage. Requires Board Certified MD/DO with 2 years of OB hospitalist experience; LICENSURE through Indiana Medical Licensing Board and formal MD/DO education. Location: Carmel, Indiana at Ascension St. Vincent Carmel Hospital; PRN schedule with 24-hour shifts and on-site call coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified OB Hospitalist
- 2 years experience in OB hospitalist practice
- MD or DO
- Indiana Medical Licensing Board credentialing before hire
- Advanced Life Support preferred
