Job Summary
PRN OB Hospitalist role at Ascension St. Vincent Carmel Hospital in Carmel, IN. Manage labor up to delivery as requested by generalist physicians; provide urgent postpartum care; back-up and consultation for midwifery; care for unassigned OB Unit/Emergency Room patients; triage all patients on the unit unless directly admitted; assist in cesarean deliveries when requested; communicate with Maternal Fetal Medicine for consults; work in a Level III maternity center with Level III NICU and 24hr OB anesthesia; Sunrise EMR; 2000 deliveries/year projected; on-site call coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified OB/GYN MD/DO
- 2 years experience as OB Hospitalist
- Indiana Medical Licensing Board credentialed before hire
- MD or DO degree required
- Advanced Life Support preferred
