Job Summary
OB Hospitalist (PRN) role: Board Certified OB-GYN MD/DO with 2 years of obstetrics experience needed to manage labor through delivery, postpartum care, and provide back-up for midwifery services in a Level III maternity center with a 24-hour OB anesthesia team. Responsibilities include triage of patients in the OB unit/ED, assisting with cesarean deliveries when requested, and coordinating with Maternal-Fetal Medicine on consults. Unit serves approximately 2000 deliveries/year in Carmel, Indiana, at Ascension St. Vincent Carmel Hospital. On-site, dedicated call coverage; must maintain Indiana licensure and meet minimum credential requirements. EMR: Sunrise. Facility: Ascension St Vincent Carmel Hospital. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified OB-GYN MD/DO
- Minimum 2 years obstetrics experience
- Indiana medical license prior to hire
- Active board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Licensure/Registration: Indiana Medical Licensing Board credentialed prior to hire date
