Job Summary
OB Hospitalist physician role at UNC Health Women’s Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. Responsibilities include covering labor and delivery with support from a midwife and OB/GYN ED call, part of a 5-physician OB/GYN team with EPIC EMR, and a 7 24-hour call shift per month (with Part-time and Per Diem options available). Competitive compensation with base salary, quality bonus, sign-on bonus, relocation, comprehensive benefits, loan-relief support through PSLF, and licensure/malpractice coverage. Requires MD or DO with NC medical licensure eligibility; Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN. Onsite work schedule with 40 standard hours per week; location in Lumberton, NC. Eligible for PSLF and relocation assistance; strong emphasis on mentoring, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, team-based care
- Experienced physicians and those completing residency are encouraged to apply
