Job Summary
OB Hospitalist physician needed at UNC Health Women’s Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. The role involves covering labor and delivery with midwife support and GYN ED call, with 7 24-hour call shifts per month; full-time option and also available are part-time and per diem. EPIC EMR is used. Compensation includes a competitive base salary with quality bonus, plus a sign-on bonus and relocation. Eligible for PSLF; comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement plans, parental leave, CME allowance, licensure and malpractice coverage. Requires MD or DO and NC licensure with Board Certified or Board Eligible status in Obstetrics and Gynecology; excellent clinical and communication skills and a commitment to team-based care. Location: Lumberton, North Carolina; onsite work with a collaborative, experienced team in a 337-bed community hospital with a Level II NICU.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, team-based care
- Experienced physicians and those completing residency are encouraged to apply
