OB Hospitalist Physician

Provide emergency OB care, unassigned patient support, OBED coverage, and transport management while focused on hospital-based care including deliveries and rounding on inpatients. No clinic responsibilities are assigned. Collaborate with Critical Care and Emergency departments, utilizing first assist support where available, alongside teamwork with affiliated MFM and neonatology specialists. A reliable back-up call system is in place. Work 24-hour shifts; full-time physicians work a minimum average of six shifts per month and 18 shifts per quarter, part-time physicians work three shifts monthly and nine quarterly, and PRN physicians work one shift monthly and three quarterly.
