Job Summary
Inpatient OB Hospitalist role at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center (Bellingham, WA): provide high-acuity obstetric care as part of an established hospitalist program in a shift-based, no-call environment. Responsibilities include inpatient obstetric coverage, obstetric emergency triage led by hospitalists, collaboration with CNMs, dedicated OB anesthesia, and two OB operating rooms. The ideal candidate is Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology with OB Hospitalist experience, comfortable managing high-acuity obstetrics, and able to work within a team of CNMs and nursing staff. Requirements include M.D. or D.O., WA medical license (or ability to obtain), BLS (ACLS preferred or obtainable within 30 days), and willingness to relocate. Compensation offered for 1.0 FTE at $369,657.60 annually, with relocation assistance, educational loan reimbursement options, comprehensive benefits, and malpractice coverage. Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Unrestricted Washington medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency or RCPSC-accredited Canadian OB/GYN residency
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Relocation assistance provided
