Job Summary
Inpatient OB Hospitalist/Laborist role at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA. No call; shift-based model with a collaborative program including CNMs, OB anesthesia, and dedicated OB ED. Responsibilities include inpatient triage, unassigned patient care, and obstetric emergency coverage (>20 weeks) within a Level II facility, with opportunities for relocation support and educational loan reimbursement. Requires MD/DO, OB/GYN residency completion, and WA medical license; board certification/eligibility and BLS; ACLS preferred.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. (or foreign equivalent)
- Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency or RCPSC-accredited Canadian OB/GYN residency
- Unrestricted Washington medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
