Job Summary
Inpatient OB Hospitalist/Laborist role at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA. Responsibilities include managing high-acuity obstetrics with inpatient triage support, collaboration with CNMs and nursing staff, and a shift-based schedule with no on-call obligations. Ideal candidates are Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN with OB Hospitalist experience, able to handle unassigned patient care and obstetric emergency coverage (>20 weeks) within a team-focused environment. Requires MD/DO, completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency, and an unrestricted WA license (or ability to obtain).
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. (or foreign equivalent)
- Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
- Unrestricted Washington medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- BLS certification required ; ACLS preferred (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
