Job Summary
OB/GYN hospitalist role: provide in-house 24-hour shifts for obstetric services across Parkview community hospitals; manage labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, postpartum care, gynecologic consultations, and emergency surgeries; participate in clinic duties during weekday shifts (office visits, NST/ultrasound interpretation, CNM/NP support); coordinate Maternal Transports to PRMC as needed; collaborate with service line leadership, nursing, and other specialties to drive patient safety and quality initiatives; Parkview Health is committed to Women’s and Children’s services and health equity in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in OB/GYN (American Board Certified)
- Minimum of 1-3 years OB/GYN experience
- Willingness to coordinate with service line leadership, nursing, and other specialties
- In-house 24-hour shifts totaling 79 per year
- Labor and delivery management, obstetric emergencies, postpartum care, gynecologic consultations, emergency surgical interventions
- Some clinic duties during weekday shifts (office visits, NST/Ultrasound interpretation, CNM/NP support)
- Must be American Board Certified
