Job Summary
Provide 24/7 in-house OB Hospitalist coverage, managing obstetric triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Deliver GYN care for cases presenting through the Emergency Department. Work within a dedicated OB Hospitalist model that excludes outpatient clinic duties. Maintain a schedule of seven 24-hour shifts per month. Prior OB Hospitalist experience is required. Join a collaborative team at UNC Rex in Raleigh or UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, both located in North Carolina's Triangle region.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO
- NC license or eligible
- BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- ACGME-accredited OBGYN residency
- ACLS certification
- Prior OB Hospitalist experience
- (7) 24hr shifts per month
- Provide 24/7 in-house OB Hospitalist coverage
- Manage obstetric triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Provide GYN care for cases presenting through the Emergency Department
