Job Summary
Provide 24/7 in-house OB Hospitalist coverage managing obstetric triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, including GYN cases presenting through the Emergency Department. Deliver seven 24-hour shifts per month within a dedicated OB Hospitalist model that excludes outpatient clinic duties. Prior OB Hospitalist experience is required for this full-time onsite role. Smithfield offers a Level II NICU and a new program with development opportunities, while Raleigh features a Level 4 NICU, Da Vinci robotics, and a collaborative team of seven OB/GYNs.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO
- NC license or eligible
- BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- ACGME-accredited OBGYN residency
- ACLS certification
- Prior OB Hospitalist experience
- Provide 24/7 in-house OB Hospitalist coverage
- Manage obstetric triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Provide GYN care for cases presenting through the Emergency Department
- (7) 24hr shifts per month
