Job Summary
Conduct triage, labor and delivery, antepartum, and transfer patient care alongside eight physicians, nurse midwives, and nurse practitioners. Manage postpartum consultations, ED consults, and emergent GYN surgeries for a population of 500,000 people. Provide 12 four-hour night shifts with availability for extra compensation, supported by 24-hour Maternal Fetal Medicine, anesthesia, and NICU consultation. Serve as a referral center for two-thirds of Maine, supporting over 1,600 annual deliveries at a Level II trauma center with a Level III NICU.
