Job Summary
Provide full spectrum obstetrical coverage as an OB hospitalist in a Level IV Perinatal Care Center (St. Vincent Indianapolis) with Level I trauma verification and Level IV NICU. Duties include daily rounds with the MFM team, deliveries for patients admitted to the high risk team, assessment and evaluation of triage patients and incoming maternal transports. Teaching is desirable due to residency programs on site. Minimum 4-5 years OB/GYN experience preferred. The role supports hospital-based obstetric and neonatal care within Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis and participates in professional development and clinical leadership as part of the AMG network.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
- Advanced Life Support preferred
