Job Summary
OB-GYN needed in Calexico, CA for a full-time role featuring 8a-5p (M-F) with occasional weekends and on-call time. Responsibilities include providing high-quality healthcare to female patients, monitoring prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods, performing tests and treatments, delivering babies, participating in clinic policy development, managing chronic conditions, documenting accurately, coordinating with Medical Director, and facilitating audits to meet state and federal regulations. The role also involves serving as a preceptor for medical students and programs for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant training, participating in daily team huddles, supporting nursing staff, and rotating between health clinics as needed. Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree
- 3+ years of experience in Gynecology and Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active California Medical Doctor (MD) license
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certification
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- OB-GYN board certified or board eligible
